I. ELIGIBILITY

• Must be a citizen of a country other than China and in good health (both mentally and physically).

• For undergraduate programs: High school graduate, Age: under 25.

• For master’s programs: Bachelor’s degree holder, Age: under 35.

• For doctoral programs: Master’s degree holder, Age: under 40.

• For general scholar programs: High school graduate (at least), Age: under 45.

• For senior scholar programs: Master’s degree holder or associate professor (or above), Age: under 50.

• Language proficiency: HSK Level 3 for Chinese-taught undergraduate or general scholar programs; HSK Level 4 for Chinese-taught master’s or doctoral programs.

II. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

1. Application Form (Chinese or English)

2. Passport copy (valid until March 2026 or later)

3. Notarized highest diploma and transcripts (with Chinese/English translations if in other languages)

4. Language proficiency certificates (HSK/IELTS/TOEFL as applicable)

5. Pre-admission document (e.g., pre-admission notice or invitation letter)

6. Study Plan or Research Proposal (200 words for undergraduates, 500 for non-degree, 800 for postgraduates)

7. Two recommendation letters (for graduate and senior scholar applicants)

8. Art portfolio (for art/design majors)

9. Legal guardian documents (for applicants under 18)

10. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (for stays longer than 6 months)

11. Non-criminal record certificate (issued within 6 months before application)
